On October 15, 2026, the third edition of the Tokyo Tech Meetup × Career Event brought together more than 400 technology professionals, business leaders, innovators and hiring companies at the Minato City Industry Promotion Center in Tokyo.
Organized by HirePlanner, the event brought together technology discussions, career opportunities and networking in one integrated experience — creating a space where professionals could connect, exchange ideas, learn from industry experts, inspire others, discover new opportunities and grow.

Tech Conference
Industry leaders shared practical insights and best practices to help Tokyo’s tech community deepen its AI expertise, explore the many facets of Enterprise Digital Transformation, and understand how emerging technologies drive innovation and business growth.
Recruiting & Career Development
Alongside technical workshops and career coaching sessions, attendees discovered a curated selection of innovative companies expanding in Japan. Each showcased its technology, vision, growth plans and open roles, giving tech professionals the chance to connect directly with potential employers, explore business opportunities and discuss their next career move.
Networking & Community Gathering
A place to connect with the people driving innovation in Japan, discover emerging technologies and meet the companies and individuals shaping the future of Tokyo’s tech ecosystem. By bringing together diverse perspectives, expertise and ambitions, we create space for new relationships, collaborations and ideas to take shape.

Satisfaction was high across every group category: 94.6% of the people we surveyed were satisfied or very satisfied, and 62.4% said they were very satisfied (82.4% of speakers, 67.9% of exhibitors and 58.9% of attendees said they were very satisfied).

– 30.3% Japanese participants
– 80.2% with business-level English or above
– 56.6% with business-level Japanese or above
– 1 in 3 people of attendees worked in AI and machine learning.
The event program featured panel discussions on enterprise AI digital transformation, sales, customer experience, robotics, cybersecurity and the future of software engineering, alongside practical technical workshops, company presentations, career development coaching sessions and networking.
All sessions were available in English and Japanese thanks to Cuckoo’s simultaneous translation app.
